Saturday - Day 230 - Then and Now.

It is back to the basics today.  The smell of fall is in the air and it has permeated my soul through and through.

Memories of my childhood flooded my mind.  The good moments etched in my brain, waiting to be activated by memory senses.  Specific smells or songs are perfect for remembering moments lost inside our head.

Our memories never die, they get pushed down, buried in current day events. Memories of our own kids supersede our own childlike wonder, long forgotten.

Then in a matter of seconds one small occurrence in today's life, will spark a memory long forgotten, it is a mini awakening of another life.  The reality  transforms into love and appreciation for how far we have traveled, where we have been to where we are today.

Life is a long series of events, blended together to tell a story, one memory at a time.

How will your story end?
How will it be special?
